Flow Hive Beekeeping. If you're looking to set up your first Flow Hive you will need three things. The physical hive, bees and some training. Hamish is a Flow Hive Ambassador and an enthusiast for the system. He runs weekly Flow Hive focussed workshops at his dedicated teaching apiary in Bowral (90mins from Sydney or Canberra, 60mins from Wollongong) where you will learn everything you need to get started as well as a discount code to use when buying your hive. The courses are a blend of theory, entertainment, and hands on beekeeping at one of Australia's largest dedicated teaching apiaries in the beautiful Southern Highlands. We'll cover everything from which hive to order, how to assemble it, where to put it, and how to get your first bees. You’ll be able to see different models of built Flow Hive in the apiary. You'll walk away with enough information to confidently start your beekeeping journey. Hamish is an experienced and enthusiastic beekeeper with formal qualifications in beekeeping and teaching, bon vivant and foodie. You can also organise to take home your first colony of strong, healthy, happy, pretty and productive bees!

Join John from EezyBeez for this one day intensive beginner beekeeping workshop. Learn about bee behaviour, the equipment you will need to get started, rules of beekeeping and how to manage your hive for success in beekeeping. On the day we will cover the theory of beekeeping and how to care for your bees and you will have a chance to get up close and personal with the bees and see the workings of various styles of hives (weather permitting). Gain the skills to get started in beekeeping with support available to you to keep you on track. This is a chance for you to look beyond the mystery of beekeeping and gain the confidence to start looking after your own bees. Thanks. John
