A beekeeping club keen to promote the importance of bees to our society. Beginners and community members are welcome to attend our Information & Training meetings held monthly. Meeting information published on our website.
General Meetings are held on the last Thursday of the month and start promptly at 7.30pm. Doors open around 7pm. Guests are welcome to come along as a visitor to the monthly General Meetings to get a better understanding of bees and beekeeping. Valley Bees is based in the Mary Valley, SE Queensland. We support and nurture all bees – honey bees, native stingless bees and solitary bees, as well as pollination, bee gardens, broader habitat and sustainability. We share freely, mentor newbees, assist, give workshops, run open days, do community fund-raising, and have colourful displays and honey-tastings at many local events. We meet the 2nd Sunday of every month, at Honeybee Farm, 20 Hasthorpe Rd, Kandanga. 1-30pm. Bring a plate to share.
The Barambah Beekeepers Inc Club now meets at their Pound Street Kingaroy Clubhouse. Meeting time 9.00am on second Saturday of each month. It is approximately 210 kilometres north-west of Brisbane. Please see website for details.
Meeting every third Sunday of the month, rotating around members' houses. Meetings start at 2pm and usually go for 2 hours. Please see web page for details.
