A beekeeping club keen to promote the importance of bees to our society. Beginners and community members are welcome to attend our Information & Training meetings held monthly. Meeting information published on our website.
Valley Bees is based in the Mary Valley, SE Queensland. We support and nurture all bees – honey bees, native stingless bees and solitary bees, as well as pollination, bee gardens, broader habitat and sustainability. We share freely, mentor newbees, assist, give workshops, run open days, do community fund-raising, and have colourful displays and honey-tastings at many local events. We meet the 2nd Sunday of every month, at Honeybee Farm, 20 Hasthorpe Rd, Kandanga. 1-30pm. Bring a plate to share.
We usually meet monthly in the RSL club Kingaroy 4610, an agricultural town in the South Burnett Region, Queensland. It is approximately 210 kilometres north-west of Brisbane. Please see website for details.
Meeting every third Sunday of the month, rotating around members' houses. Meetings start at 2pm and usually go for 2 hours. Please see web page for details.
